The Waxcrab is a curious, grumpy creature that lives in the Sunspike Savannah, a region where storm energy and gemstone-rich soil meet. Its body is covered in tiny gemstones, and its shell is made of candle wax, which glows softly when the storm energy within it flares.
The Waxcrab is said to have been born from a storm that struck the Sunspike Savannah. The storm's energy fused with a crab that had wandered too close to a hidden gemstone vein. Over time, the gemstones embedded themselves in the crab’s exoskeleton, and the storm energy shaped its body into a glowing, candle-like structure.
Grumpy and kind, the Waxcrab is a creature of contradictions. It can be gruff with intruders, but it will go out of its way to help those it deems worthy. It is also quite curious and often gets into trouble trying to explore new places.
